Caring for your pets is not unlike caring for a child. Many considerations must be made, such as the type of food they should eat to the doctor they should see for their yearly check-ups.

Too often these things are secondary thoughts and our pets suffer those concequences. A good rule to follow for our human diet is to limit our intake of fast food, when in fact, that is the main food source we are feeding our pets when we only provide them with dry and/or canned food as their staple diet.

Today there are more and more occurances of allergy and cancer related illnesses in our pets. These types of illnesses are often linked to diet, especially when a body is provided impurites or additives on a continual basis.

Like our own diets, our pets' food needs to include variety and natural sources of vitamins. Our pets' digestive systems are compact and equipted to handle raw foods just like they would find if they still lived in the wild. There are ways to adjust your pets' feeding habits that will allow them to live a more healthful life with fewer vet visits. A change over a period of a couple of weeks usually does it!
